There is a reason why the U.S. government is waging war all over the world, even obviously against the good of the nation.
There is a reason why the U.S. government rapidly rolled over and did the banker bailout without question, in an amount which exceeded the value of every mortgage in the country by more than 3x, and every mortgage in default by over 15x; an amount which will destroy America once the ripple effect is finished.
Many of you are no doubt scratching your heads, wondering why every elected president turns back on his campaign promises the second the inaguration is complete. Believe me, the corruption of American elected officials is not that deep. You cannot elect several presidents in sequence, and have them all perfectly screw the country, ESPECIALLY the way Bush and Obama did; they had their reason, and it is called NUCLEAR BLACKMAIL.

Walk for Leonard Peltier and Human Rights-live interview
Organizer Dorothy Ninham, and her family, along with support from Leonard Peltier began planning a walk across the country in early July, 2011, to bring to light injustices committed by our own government. The people we elect to uphold supposedly sacred documents outlining our laws (such as the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights) continually forego these laws in favor of their own ideas for what is and is not allowed by people living in America. Although one main thrust of the walk is to re-ignite Leonard Peltier's case (find out more at www.whoisleonardpeltier.info) and show how life on Indian Reservations is, to this day, more akin to concentration camps than it is to typical American society; the walk is also about how these injustices are not limited to the indigenous people of this land. We want to show how the laws protecting things like 'Freedom of Speech' and 'Right to Assemble' which we normally believe to be available to us without question, are more like nice thoughts than laws we can rely on when it comes time to enact upon them.
The walk officially began on December 18th 2011 with a ceremony at Alcatraz Island, with AIM (American Indian Movement) leaders like Dennis Banks, Fred Short, and Tony Gonzalez (to name a few of the 250+ people in attendence). So far we have travelled to various reservations and other historical spots through California, and will be continuing to travel across the southern states, until heading up along the east coast and ending the walk in Washington D.C. At the white house, on May 18th, 2012. At that point there is a 3-day pow wow scheduled, and we will be demanding clemency for Leonard Peltier, who has been a political prisoner for over 36 years now. Shortly before the walk began, an incident occured involving some of the family members who organized the walk. A No-Knock Search Warrant was issued, and acted upon in November 4th, 2011- whereby several SWAT team members and other tribal police officers came to Geronimo and Michelle Powless' house, and began to force them to the ground shouting profanity. There was a small group of people there including relatives from out of state and children, who were preparing for a sacred ceremony the next day. All of them, even the 1, 3, and 13 year olds were roughly handled, taken from their parents, and most held on the floor at gunpoint by automatic weapons. When asked why, the SWAT team members only used profanity again saying things like "Shut the f*** up!" and "get on the f****** floor!" All members were removed from the premesis in handcuffs, and taken to the police station, still uninformed of the reasons why. When Michelle and Geronimo returned home, their house was in disarray, as though it was lifted upside down and shaken.
All of those involved are suffering from this traumatic event to this day, and several now have PTSD symptoms, which they are seeing therapists for. The officers never had reason to enter the house, and although the people who were arrested were let go within 1 day, this only shows further how this walk is neccesary to show all those who are unaware of the criminal tactics and abuses that our own law enforcement and judicial systems commit on a daily basis.
